AMD Phenom Black Edition Processors
Procesor #1: AMD II Phenom X3 720 Black Edition
The AMD name has launched a new set of Deneb quad and tri core chips; these are 45nm process chips. The main difference between the AM2 and AM3 processors is that the AM3 introduces DDR3 support. This means faster memory which means a faster computer. With a simple BIOS update the AM3 processors will work in AM2+ motherboards. Currently the only quad X4 BE right now is the 940. This was one of the first 3.0Ghz chips and for that reason it is only compatible with AM2+ motherboards. There will be a serious of quad AM3 BE chips available in the near future.
Procesor #2: AMD Phenom X3 8750 Black Edition
The AMD Phenom 8750 processor is a tri-core processor that runs at 2.4GHz. A bug causes the processor to run slow when doing heavy loads. Since then AMD has come out with a new B3 die which fixes those problems. A tri-core processor is a quad-core processor that has one of the four cores failed AMD’s control testing, or where one of the cores is purposely disabled to open up to the tri-core market.
Procesor #3: AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition
The X4 9950 Black Edition is a processor that runs at 2.6GHz. Since the Black Edition is always AMD’s top model it comes with an unlocked multiplier, which means overclocking is very easy. All you really need to worry about is making sure that your CPU is cooled sufficiently. This is a very good high-end processor.
